New Scenario Scripts and Challenge Games
You are one of those people who are gifted with extraordinary technical wizardry and you are going to put it into good use with your tech startup. With the belief that it is technology that matters the most when it comes to high tech products, you are confident that becoming a leader in the high tech market is absolutely within your reach.
You have bought the brand asset of a defunct company which used to be a popular consumer brand and still carries significant brand value in the present day. You plan to launch a new range of products of outstanding quality and market them under the legacy brand. By leveraging the brand, your new products will gain instant consumer recognition without prior advertising. (You are not allowed to change brand strategy in this game.)
The mouse function has been overhauled
Users previously having problems with the mouse are advised to upgrade to this version.
On the script [HEADER] section, it now supports Folder=<folder>
If the “Folder” variable is defined, the game will load all image files and data files that are associated with this script from the specified folder.
In the [SPECIAL RULES] section of a script file, added the following new function
Training Effect Modifier=<1 to 1000>
You may use this to modify to training effect on staff. The default value is 100. If you assign a value lower than 100, the experience level of your staff being trained will increase more slowly. Setting a value higher than 100 will increase the training effect.
Training Effect Modifier=200
With the same training expenditure, your staff’s experience level will increase twice as fast.
New Goal Target for Scripts
Tech lead=<product type>, <target technology>
This type of goal requires the player’s technology for a specific product to reach a target value.
Example: Tech lead=Desktop Computer, 150
Merger Mechanism Improvement allowing brands of the merger target to survive
An improvement has been made to allow brands of the target company of a merger to survive under the conditions described below.
If both the acquiring company (parent) and the target company (child) are using unique brand strategy, and either of the following conditions is true, then the child’s brand ratings will be retained.
The parent's brand loyalty > child's brand loyalty
The parent's brand rating > child's brand rating (brand rating is the sum of brand awareness and brand loyalty)
The parent's brand rating is zero, and the child’s brand rating>0
