Hello,

I'm new at the forum but been playing the game for years.

I was able to mod the cities.DBF file and increased the city population index.

But it only works on challenge games, when I create a custom game it loads the fictional cities instead.

I'd like to disable fictional cities for custom games and use the real cities names with the population I used on the Cities.DBF file.

What I am doing wrong?

I have near the same problem. And I have found out that if you disable the City Economic Simulation DLC it should be work. But without the nice functions from this DLC...

There is a file called Fictional_Cities.DBF in the MOD_Kit\DATA folder. Please modify this instead of CITIES.DBF for fictional city names in CES DLC.
