Hello,

I'd like to start a game with no computer for free.
1) I setup Random Product Reinvention=100 , but Desktop computer (and some others) are always available at start (i tryed many gamestart...)
2) I allow only 1 Industrial Goods Seaports, as CPU, and computer composant seems always on, i added many other products to the seaport to avoid CPU, electronic componements and DVD, but there are always some. As if it is hardcoded.

I tryed a game with no seaport , it help but the IA seem buggy then...

Is there a way to really force 100% product reinvention ?

i play on 6.9.04 but i saw this on previous versions too

It's mainly for gameplay balance.

It is hardcoded for the Digital Age DLC to ensure that desktop computers can always be produced in the game. As you know, without home computers, the entire software and Internet industry would not even be viable. The AI controlled software and Internet companies very much depend on an orderly supply of home computers to work.
