The Video Game Thumb Candy mod is specifically designed to take advantage of Capitalism Lab's Video Game Mod Kit-features.

Features:
  • 26 consoles, across seven IP ranges:

  • 2,206 product customizations, across 87 software types:

  • 57 game technologies. Most game types require three technologies, while a few require only two. All technologies have been carefully hand-picked for each software type:

  • A few of the game types (which contain entirely of a single franchise) make use of the 'Product IP' feature available for software types.
  • Several key game technologies make gentle use of the can-invent-year and parent-technology-required feature, to avoid head-starts in the 1980s from becoming too over-powering.
  • The mod is designed around Capitalism Lab's starting date of 1990, but some titles are released in the latter-half of the 1980s, so starting the game in the 1980s allows you to get a head-start. A sample script which starts the game in 1987 - along with a few other tweaks designed to cater to this mod - is available, here: http://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?fi ... 3059172771

I'm happy to share the source files for this mod, if anyone needs them to use this mod as a base for their own (except for contest entries), or to merge with other mods. Drop me a post to say you need it, and I'll upload it.
We believe that source files are required for translation.Thanks.

You're not going to... retail... these files, are you, Mr Games Retailer? ;) Just tell me a little about you, as your only posts so far have been asking for mod source files.

I tested it and it worked well - see the attached screenshot. I would recommend that you download the MOD again and reinstall it.

Hey,

would you mind dropping the source ? Would like to mix this mod with my own one which I use for private games.

Cheers

I'm quite enjoying the mod but I had one question about selling video games. Does it net more money selling each game in the series or just make 1 and call it done and move to the next genre? For example if I make 5 cooking mama games and sell them all individually or just make the last one and sell that only. Trying to plan out how I'm going to manage my game company.
