Modding?

Post by Kapseljd »

#1: Is there somebody who could make a video for on youtube on the how too Mod.
I think like allot of people here like myself are no tech'ies or haven't got the full take on the English language.
so monkey see monkey do would work fine :D

#2: Are there people who already are playing with a Mod? Im looking then for something like this: microsoft and apple for tech, BMW and Mercedes for Cars, nike and addidas for clothing, etc etc you got the idea. and also then the Logo's of those company's or similar.

#3: Somewhere on the forum i saw a post where someone made changes of the in game pictures, i believed one of them was a intel picture for the processor and another for cattle and some others also.
so my question is, could this be implemented in the game or mod? because a lot of in game pictures are outdated or can do better.

Or maybe it would be possible to work together on making a mod where the company's are like in real world.
More up to date pictures of products.

Yes, it is possible to mod the product images with the current mod system.

Don't laugh about my English xD

Is it possible to mod the reserves of the resources in the game?

Like Timber, Gold, etc etc

because Timbers reserves are depleted after just 1. 1,5. years of playing.

and that per mine and logging camp and that times 10 (city's)
so its very irritating that your game gets interrupted every month to make a new one.
and you loose your invested money in training.

I wanted to look if its possible to get more Persons to chose from.
so i doubled the list and changed the names so now ive got 130 persons.

butt it didn't work, the game selected names out of that list, just the same amount as in a normal game(i think)

This is not supported by the current mod system.

This should work. Instead of just duplicating the list without adding any new person names, could you try adding a few new person names and test it again?

I started again and now add 10 complete new persons to the existing ones.
It didn't work
I think now that the game randomly selects 50 people.

My point was to create more persons.
normally i play whit 30 competitors so there are then just 19 persons available to take into your company. and most probably the ones you want are already working for them self.
Thats why i wanted more persons.

You may test if you are able to select the new person on the new game setup menu where you can choose your player character's portrait.

You could do this by adding new portraits to the MOD, in addition to adding new person names.

Hi.

I'm new to the game and to the site. I've been trying this MOD thing but it doesnt work for me. Any chance I can ask for help?

I've downloaded the mod, extracted the ZIP file to the MOD folder of Capitalism Lab and still nothing. Is there something i've been doing wrong?

Thanks.
