Hello David!
1. I think this is a good idea “Indie game about Chinese real estate” !But I would like to give some advice from my personal point of view. Many Chinese players now like simulation games and strategy games. These games (such as Sid Meier’s Civilization、 Football Manager、 Stellaris、 Cities: Skylines、 Europa Universalis IV、 Crusader Kings II、 Planet Coaster、 Planet Zoo、 Two Point Hospital、 Tropico……) have good sales in China. You know a lot of people like to experience a billionaire so financial simulation games are still very marketable. You can see their approximate data on Steam Database. The purchasing power of Chinese players is huge now. If you show sincerity Chinese players are very friendly. Such as Localization、 exquisite game model and powerful gameplay. Chinese players pay more attention to these now. I have over 1000 games and 380 DLCs in steam library. My friends also have an average of about 300 games in steam library. Even a friend has over 17,000 games and 8000 DLCs in steam library. So you don’t have to worry about the purchasing power of Chinese players at all!
2. Chinese players use a lot of gaming platforms now. Steam>Wegame(Tencent's)>EPIC>Origin>Uplay>GOG>Rockstar Games 、etc.
3. I hope you can add features about "UI Scaling". If my screen resolution is 4K, UI will be very small. It's hard to play Capitalism Lab.
Thanks, I hope my reply is useful.
